Dixon, KY – Volunteer fire fighters were dispatched to a report of a debris fire Saturday near Dixon. Officials say someone noticed smoke in an area just off highway 41-A near the Parrish Road. The area is just north of the high school near the Webster County State Highway Maintenance Facility. Some 50,000 cubic yards of material was involved at the site. Volunteer fire fighters remained on the scene for several hours while the fire was brought under control and allowed to burn itself out. There were no report of injuries.
