Princeton Police Arrest Report thru 7/14

Princeton, KY - The Princeton Police Department has released the following arrest reports.

07/11/09 7:30 P.M. Cody Knight, 1321 Dawson Road reported a burglary to police. Knight told officers that sometime between 6:00 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. someone entered his residence and stole a Gibson Les Paul guitar and two Delta acoustic guitars. Knight placed the value of the stolen items at $625.00


07/11/09 9:27 P.M. Eric McCoy 124 Garden Acres reported a robbery to police. McCoy said that he and a friend were in an alley in the area of N. Seminary and N. Cave Street attempting to purchase alcohol when a black male took assaulted him and took $15.00. McCoy and his friend fled the area and went to the Caldwell County Hospital where he was treated for a laceration above his eye.

07/11/09 10:03 P.M. LaDonna Melton 1526 Hwy 293 North reported an assault to police. Melton told officers that while she was at 1321 Dawson Road two male subjects took her vehicle without her permission. She said they returned the vehicle a few minutes later and that one of the subjects assaulted her. Melton said that the subjects left before police arrived.

07/12/09 1:54 A.M. Officers arrested Joshua E. Pavey, 18, Linton Way on a charge of Alcohol Intoxication after he was found at the City County Park after hours. Officers determined that Pavey was impaired and he was taken into custody and lodged in the County Jail.

07/13/09 9:45 A.M. Officers responded to a theft complaint at the Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center on W. Main Street and charged Darcy N. Driver, 25, Coyote Drive, Salem, KY with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500.00 involving the theft of $50.00 in cash and a diamond ring valued in excess of $500.00 from tow patients at the center. Driver was cited to court and is scheduled to appear on August 3, 2009 to answer to the charge.

07/13/09 11:15 A.M. Officers arrested Michael E. Cooper, 19, Baker Street on a charge of Terroristic Threatening after responding to a disturbance complaint at his residence and hearing Cooper threaten bodily harm to a family member. Cooper was taken into custody and lodged in the County Jail.

07/13/09 8:24 P.M. Officers arrested Ronald A. Fruitiger, 31, Center Street on charges of Assault 4th Degree and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree after responding a disturbance complaint at his residence at 228 Center Street. Family members told officers that Fruitiger was intoxicated and had made threats towards them and had held his girl friend down and refused to let her leave. Fruitiger was taken into custody and lodged in the County Jail.

07/14/09 11:43 P.M. Officers arrested Jimmy Gray Cumberland Drive on a charge of Violation of a KY EPO/DVO. Officers were contacted by Gray’s estranged wife who reported that Gray had been served with an Emergency Protection Order which awarded their children to her and that Gray had not turned over custody of the children. Officers located Gray and he was taken into custody and lodged in the County Jail.
