Hopkins County, KY - The Hopkins County Sheriff's Department reports 17 arrests made from July 17-27, 2009.

On July 17th. Leo Arona, 27, of 309 Wilson Street in Earlington was arrested on a Hopkins County Warrant charging him with Receiving Stolen Property. Then on July 21, 2009 Brandy L. Dale, 27, of 112 Russell Street in Greenville was arrested on a warrant charging her with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $300. Also on July 21 deputies arrested James P. Fultz, 27, of 6652 Rob Roy Road in Cromwell, Kentucky on a warrant charging him with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $300. Again on July 21 Dicie Collins, 53, of 302 North Main Street was arrested on a warrant charging Leaving the Scene of an accident and Driving on a DUI Suspended License.

William A. Branson, 41, of 2930 Hill Heaven Lane in Paducah was arrested on July 22, 2009 on warrants charging him with 9 counts of Theft by Deception. Keith S. Bel, 40, of 507 Cedar Street in Providence was arrested and charged with Burglary in the 3rd degree. On July 25, 2009 Shannon D. Miller, 39, of 1016 Iroquois Drive in Madisonville was arrested on warrants charging Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Contempt of Court. David L. Roberts, 38, of 95 Big Springs Road in Drakesboro was arrested on a warrant on July 25 charging him with Non-Payment of Fines. Charles L. Carlton, 30, of 400 Oak Hill Circle in Nortonville was arrested  on July 25 and charged with 4th Degree Assault(Domestic), also charged at that address was 21yr old Whitney Coakley and was charged with 4th Degree Assault.

July 26, 2009 saw the arrests of Douglas L. Wilford of 1805 Maple Court in Hopkinsville charging Driving on a DUI Suspended License and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs. Tamrah Demoss, 40, of 755 Balls Hill Road in Nebo was arrested on warrants charging her with 4 counts of Theft by Deception. Bethany N. Duke, 25, of 835 Pleasantview Road in Madisonville was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs and Brian G. Wells, 38, of 107 East Farren Avenue in Earlington was arrested for Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Also arrested on the same day was Alvie D. Martin, 27, of 245 High Banks Ferry Road in Slaughters on a warrant charging him with Assault in the 4th Degree(Domestic).

Finally on July 27, 2009 James H. Perkins Jr., 36, of 20 Country Club Lane in Madisonville was arrested on a warrant for Non-Payment of Fines. Mr. Perkins was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
