Muhlenberg County, KY - An accident Wednesday afternoon results in DUI charges 3rd Offense and both driver and passenger being transported to Muhlenberg County Hospital.

Wednesday afternoon approximately a mile south of Bremen Ms Dionna Griner, age 40 of Powderly Kentucky was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 truck northbound on KY 181 when she overcorrected causing the truck to cross both lanes of traffic striking an embankment before coming to a stop.  Both she and passenger Anthony Ford, age 48 of Greenville Kentucky were injured and transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment with Ms. Griner being admitted to the hospital.

Mr. Ford was treated and released and both were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.  Ms. Griner was charged with the following by the Kentucky State Police:

DUI 3rd Offense

Driving DUI with a Suspended License 2nd Offense

Possession of Open Alcoholic Container in the Vehicle

Failure to Produce Insurance Card

As Ms. Griner was admitted to the hospital she was cited to court.
