Hopkins County, KY - Joseph Gunn age 23 of Nortonville Kentucky was operating a 1993 Mitsubishi north on KY 813 when he attempted to negotiate a curve at an apparent high rate of speed losing control.  

The vehicle exited the roadway, struck a tree and traveled back onto the roadway where it overturned several times ejecting Mr. Gunn from the vehicle.  Mr. Gunn was transported by ambulance to Hanson area then flown to St. Mary's in Evansville for treatment.  It is unknown at this time if he was wearing a seat belt. 

Accident scene was approximately 2 miles north of White Plains on KY 813 and is still under investigation.
