HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - The Kentucky State Police were called to a car accident on November 5th at 7:54 p.m. 

Upon arrival they learned that Jack Frost, age 55 of Dawson Springs, KY, was operating a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 northbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway. Charles Lowe, age 49 of Evansville, IN, was operating a 2008 Ford F-150 northbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway traveling behind Mr. Frost's vehicle.  Mr. Lowe's vehicle struck the rear of Mr. Frost's vehicle, causing Mr. Frost's vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a ditch where it came to rest.  Both drivers were transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment.  Both men were wearing seat belts.  Trooper James McArthur investigated the crash.  Trooper Derek Smith & the Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
