HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – Madisonville residents will have an opportunity to eat their last Grand Slam in the old Denny’s restaurant on Monday, November 9th. Enjoy $2.99 Grand Slams all day (during the last day). The old location will close its doors for the final time at 9:00 on Monday Night.
The old restaurant has seen many changes and remodels since its debut as Jerry’s Restaurant in 1974. Jerry’s changed to Denny’s in the mid-90’s and has been an evening staple for many years. Now with the construction of Mid-Town Commons the move was enviable, but it has given an opportunity for a huge improved iconic home for the beloved restaurant chain.

Earlier today iSurf News spoke with Denny’s Manager Lorie Perez about the big switch to the new location. Lorie said that they are excited for their customers to see the awesome new facility and noted that you will definitely like what you will see. There may be a small chance that the new location will be fully operational as early as 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night (not sure at this time). They will definitely be open in the new building on Wednesday morning at 6:00.
