HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – iSurf News received a tip that due to limited space and winter month restrictions, the Muhlenberg County Humane Society is offering completely free adoptions of pets to everyone, including Hopkins County residents.
According to a Humane Society spokesperson, the November free pet month has been a great success. Over 40 pets have been adopted within the month so far. Humane Society employees urge everyone,no matter where you live, to take advantage of this one-time opportunity. The adoption includes spaying or neutering of the pet as well as the required rabies vaccination. This process would normally cost around $75.00. Thanks to local fundraisers, there is no charge at all.
The only condition for Hopkins County residents to claim a free puppy, cat, or any other pet is they must utilize the veterinarian named by the Muhlenberg Humane Society for shots and spaying or neutering. Otherwise the adopting families will be responsible for costs.
For further information, you can contact the Muhlenberg Humane Society at (270) 338-6940 between the hours of 10-4 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
