MADISONVILLE, KY -Around 9:30 AM on November 27, Madisonville Fire and Rescue received a call stating that a residence was on fire at 439 Richmond Drive in Brentwood Subdivision in Madisonville.
iSurf News was on the scene as Madisonville fire units fought to get the flame under control. Within minutes the fire was extinguished, but not before some exterior damage was done and the interior of the home was destroyed. According to scene incident commander Jason Eli, the fire started in the front of the home.
Madisonville Fire Chief Steven Stoltz told reporters that the residence, located directly on the corner of Richmond and Corum Drive, was owned by a Mr. McGaw. Apparently McGaw was in the midst of renovating the home. No one was in the house at the time of the fire.
Four Madisonville fire units, two Madisonville Police Units and one ambulance was on the scene. Traffic was closed on Richmond Drive during the incident. The owner was informed immediately of the fire.
