HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – On Thursday night, November 25, at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, the famed Hadi Shrine Circus premiered its 76th performance. iSurf News was on the scene as many Madisonville and surrounding area residents stood in line for tickets to this legendary event.
The stands were packed as the evening was opened with dozens of clowns walking around amongst the crowd and on the stadium floor tossing balloons to some very excited children. Shriners were present at every area assisting people in every way imaginable.
The three hour show was a rousing success as acrobats performed amazing feats of agility and balance, animal trainers led tigers, lions, hogs, horses, and bears throughout one impressive stunt after another. In the fashion of traditional circuses, there were motorcycle stunts performed and even a clown that couldn’t seem to keep his pants pulled up.
The show had an intermission halfway through where families could enter the showroom floor and get their pictures taken with a large Boa Constrictor snake and ride elephants and ponies. Kids even got their pictures made with Santa Claus and Spongebob Squarepants.
A great time was had by all and iSurf News suggests that you visit this fantastic event before it leaves Evansville.
