HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – In the recent murder case of Dawson Springs’ couple Lynn and Mary Moore, Eddie Joe Goodnight and Dustin McKinney were arrested.

McKinney was charged with two counts of murder and burglary while Eddie Joe Goodnight was only charged with burglary. Shortly after the crime, McKinney fled to Graves County, Kentucky while Goodnight went to Minnesota. Graves was transported to Hopkins County immediately. Due to travel issues, Goodnight was transported some time later. After being transported from Minnesota, Goodnight was finally charged with two counts of murder also.

According to local law-enforcement, however, the case is not quite over yet as there are several more leads to follow. For reasons investigators could not comment upon as of yet, investigations are still ongoing.

Goodnight will be going back to court on Friday, December 4.
