HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - On December 10, 2009, Kirsten Badilla, age 19 of Sacramento, KY, was operating a 2005 Cadillac southbound on KY 81 when she exited off the right shoulder of the roadway.

Ms. Badilla over corrected, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle. It continued down an embankment and struck a ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to rest in a yard just off of KY 81.  Ms. Badilla was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt. Trooper Jerrod Hearld investigated the crash. Muhlenberg County EMS and the Bremen Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
