Madisonville, KY – Five units of the Madisonville Fire Department were dispatched to a 911 call at the Rite-Aid Pharmacy at Madison Square Drive Wednesday.  When the units arrived, they were informed that a cleaning crew has been buffing the floor with a propane buffer which set off the alarm.

After further investigation, crews used a Multigas Detector to check for the air quality.  No abnormal readings were detected.  The area was deemed safe as the crews returned to quarters.
