HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – Two Hopkins County men were arrested over the weekend with several gambling charges following a lengthy investigation.
Early Saturday morning a search warrant was obtained and executed after a long term investigation conducted by the Madisonville Police Department, Criminal Investigative Unit. This search warrant was executed at J & J Billiards, 10 Nortonville Road in Nortonville in collaboration with Kentucky State Police, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, and Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
The Madisonville Police Department report that Jeffery G. Brasher, 29 of Nortonville and Joe E. Oldham, 34 of Madisonville were both arrested and charged with 12 counts of promoting gambling and 9 counts of possession of gambling devices.
