Mrs. Ardyth Ziese Cobb-Christman, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:10 A.M., Tuesday, March 9 2010, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

She was born June 28, 1922 in Decatur, IL to the late Fred W. Ziese and Ruby Pauline Ziese. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Christman; one brother, John Ziese; one grandchild, Julie Lynn Latham and one great grandchild, Mason Ingram.

Mrs. Cobb-Christman worked as a legal secretary and enjoyed genealogy. She was also an avid Star Trek fan.

She is survived by five daughters, Cranston Schreiner of Madisonville; Frances (Greg) Black of Evansville, IN; Randa (John) Heltsley of Nebo; Jana (J.D.) Hill of Plant City, FL and Ann (Steve) Ahlf of Harrisburg, PA; one son, David (Sherry) Cobb of Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
