Hopkins County, KY - As the cast prepares for opening night, we will meet the main character of the show, Eugene Morris Jerome.

Eugene played by Nick Hudson, from Nortonville, KY, is a typical teenager of Polish-Jewish descent. Nick will have the opportunity to share some of his experiences growing up as he deals with the day-to-day situations with his family as well as his aunt and cousins.

Nick Hudson, who plays Eugene, has had several years of experience, having been involved with the theater at Muhlenberg Community Theater, the theater department at Western Kentucky University, and the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. He has been a part of the Sound of Music, the Wizard of Oz, Midsummer’ Night Dream, and the Ten Little Indians. He is a theater major and his goal is to work in the theater industry, with the ultimate goal of someday being a director. This role as Eugene will allow him to do something different with the character as he narrates the story of his puberty, and shows us some eagerness for life, as well as his confusion that he faces, especially as he starts dealing with girls. If you want to have an enjoyable evening and watch Eugene as he tries to understand life, come on out to the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts at 6:30, November 19-21st in Madisonville, KY.
