HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – iSurf News is happy to announce that a formerly empty store space in Parkway Plaza Mall has recently been filled with a new and original shop.
Cookin’ in Style is the name of the new enterprise opened by Hopkins County resident, Bunny Wickham.
Though the name of the business might lead one to think that this could be a restaurant, Cookin’ in Style is actually an outlet for those seeking kitchen accessories, tableware, cook’s tools and gadgets. The target audience is the average local individuals that like to cook, as well as caterers, restaurant owners and chefs.
In a recent interview, Wickham told reporters that she has always had a great fondness for cooking, yet she could never find any shops in the Hopkins County area that really catered to avid chefs. She felt that it was a niche that she could fill with some success.
Currently Cookin’ in Style is featuring the highly popular Rachael Ray cookware and product line. In the near future, though, Wickham plans on carrying Paula Deen specialty foods and Guy Fieri Cutlery, as well as the majority of Food Network celebrity chef product lines.
“Cooking for me is a pleasure, not a chore,” Wickham said. “The kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s where everyone gathers. Our products emphasize that. We sell fun, funky, and functional items to help put the joy back in cooking.”
Cookin’ in Style invites everyone in the Hopkins County area to come in and have a look around.
